Iowa head strength and conditioning coach Chris Doyle just received a $80,000 raise to bump his annual base salary to $595,000, once again making him the highest paid strength and conditioning coach in the nation. Alabama's Scott Cochran was the nation's highest paid strength coach, but now Doyle makes $70,000 more a year than Cochran's $525,000. Doyle's salary is more than double what most of his Big Ten peers earn and is also greater than what 29 FBS public school head football coaches earn per year.
