Iowa state cancels spring game - now Wisconsin + Michigan

Hoping for good weather on 21st. 70s this week then back to 30s and chance of snow on Saturday. Spring in Nebraska!
Yes-2012. Severe storms were forecast during the game-Jim Cantore from the Weather Channel was even in town. As it turned out, there really wasn't much in the way of storms-just a little bit of rain, and the game probably could have been played.
I was driving around town that day. It was a whole lot of rain. Cold rain too. Would have been miserable for a game.
We eventually where hit pretty good with a storm but it would have been close getting the game in without jeopardizing the fan base.
Shouldn’t matter too much, I fully expect Iowa state to be undefeated after their non conference schedule.
Technically, you're right. He didn't want to reschedule, I thought it was kind of funny at the time.
Agreed, he could have easily had it the next weekend... And at the time I thought that was the correct thing to do.

Hope you know that in the Devaney and Osborne era’s the spring game was the 3rd week in April.
