Medical Hardship. If he ever wants to play again he must transfer. Here is why:
Iowa placing Petras on medical hardship opened up a scholarship for the 2023 season, but a player can't return from medical hardship at the school placing him on it* without his scholarship counting against NCAA limits — including retroactively.
*That part of the rule is necessary to keep teams from using medical hardship on otherwise healthy players to circumvent scholarship limit rules.
Better than fumbling and throwing interceptions every other drive.

Well Amart was average. Maybe slightly better than average. So there's a pretty good chance a QB on the Ohio State roster is better.
Joe Burrow was a backup sitting on the Ohio bench when he entered the portal. JB would have been no better than what we had had he come to Nebraska.

That talented team would have literally lost 3 to 4 games that year with virtually any other qb in the country. Go back and watch their games where JB got beat down and threw darts.
Damn what a horrible "upgrade" that guy would be. If Haarberg or Purdy could fix a couple issues in the off-season, they would beat him out anyway.
At that time I suppose you were telling us all that AM was gonna be average at best and Joe was gonna catch lightning in a bottle?
Heinrich Haarberg has only 6 games under his belt. He is our guy right now. Get him healthy and plug him back in. Only 1 game to win for the bowl. He can still manage the game and run the ball. Need more creativity with the option and better blocking up front.
