We now have two quarterback commits, and conventional wisdom has labeled one as a athletic dual-threat, and the other the traditional big-bodied drop-back passer. Here are the stats of our two commits from their junior years:
QB A
Passing- 2093 yards, 12 TD, 11 INT; Rushing- 143 carries for 640 yards, 13 TD
QB B
Passing- 2850 yards, 24 TD, 10 INT; Rushing- 55 carries for 194 yards, 4 TD
Quarterback A is Patrick O'Brien and QB B is Terry Wilson. As you see, their stats run contrary to the perceptions most of us have about them.
I am just excited to have two quality recruits that look to be pretty well-rounded quarterbacks. I can't wait to see what our staff is able to mold them into, and perhaps we shouldn't be so quick to label them!
