Legal authority versus political and moral authority are very different things. The monetary amount called the executive committee of the BOR in to play as well and we all know how that was stacked. HP would have payed a heavy price if he had pulled the plug without the BOR's blessings. You call it balls, I call it good political sense.

Personally attack you? How so? I attacked the nonsense that you've been spouting on here for the last 9 months. So you say Tom is your source? Yeah right. I'm sure he would approve of you saying that on a message board when he has publicly denied your accusations on multiple occasions. I never say this, but I'm saying it now. Prove it. Tom was mad as hell that Harvey out maneuvered him and didn't let him name his successor and thank God for that or we would probably still have your buddy Bo telling us all to go f### ourselves. But Tom DECIDED to retire and NOBODY was going to make that decision for him other than himself. He could have made Harvey fire him. How far do you think that would have gone? Take your bulls### to Youngstown with your buddy Bo. BTW since you're so tight with former coaches, ask Frank how he feels about Bo. Of course Tom didn't listen to Frank when he hired Bo so what the hell does it matter. Frank warned him. Chew on that, pal.
Hey now. Truth and common sense do not belong here. Boom

You drawing the conclusion that I am a supporter of Bo is wrong as well. Again, you have no clue who I am or what my convictions about the football program are. I don't need to prove anything to the likes of you. Guys like you live on Internet message boards, post tirelessly, and then compulsively refresh the thread to see who has replied to you. I know Tom didn't want to retire for 2-3 more years and Harvey forced him out. Of course Tom isn't going to say that publicly. He has way too much class to do so. Chew on that, pal!

I do and you're full of sh1t.

No, you don't Tim. Not a clue either. You attack people here too and think that by degrading them and flexing your Internet message board posting muscle you are going to intimidate folks. Not the case with me. Have a great day Tim! You've most certainly earned it!

One small problem for you...

I broke it down a few years back when @red rover 70 came huffing and puffing with his guaranteed inside info on Perlman, Osborne and Eichorst. It played out exactly as I said it would and this came directly from the Osborne camp plus 2 Regents. rr70 proudly accepted my wager, lost then had to display a sig pic for the rest of the year.

You don't get to recreate history, some of us - me in this case - went on record, on this very forum, years ago with what's happening behind the scenes.

P.S.
I've yet to attack you or anyone else.

I lost my season record bet and i honored our agreement. I've debated about if i should reveal names cause the agreement i made was to protect people from Bo's wrath.

Look...none of this is hard to understand. Harvey and Shaun are the legal decision makers. They got some flack and didn't have the balls to move forward on Bo.

Osborne resigned. He probably was getting some flack from Harvey who once again was the legal decision maker. However, instead of fight it, he decided to retire.

For anyone who has worked in any hierarchical organization, none of this is all that difficult to comprehend.

Yep, and you gained points from me for honoring it. :D

No reason to reveal names, they were wrong and it's over. The point of bringing up our little wager was to show the other poster it was spelled out on here, in detail, and it played out exactly how it was posted. Some people like to recreate history, for whatever reason.

Maybe Tim still has my exact post from all them years ago?

Got rid of it as soon as you lost the bet and honored the wager.

That's cool Tim. Like i said many times... I'm no insider. I'm just a Nebraska kid lucky enough to know a few people growing up. And i LOVE MY HUSKERS!

I find it funny that the conspiracy theorists think Tom was fired. If I could get with that lie, I would love it because he didn't get to pull one last power play without notifying his direct superior. Tom was a very smart man. He would have had a contract in writing to protect himself if any of that had went down the way the Blo-ners claim.
