Too be fair because I have Hawkeye friends.
This is the first time they won 12 games in a season a school achievement.
With No conference CC or Rose Bowl ring I can see were the Husker fans that hate the rivals from the east see this as laughable.

I would like to know the brand of the digital camera used for that picture. It has an incredibly powerful zoom lens on it.

When we won the west, did we make a ring?
I guess we never won the west outright seeing as how we got beat by Wisy in the championship.
I thought I heard somewhere that the Io_a spring game attendance was around 18,000. So, yeah, looks like those rings really worked out well.
You know, it's cool so many people go to our spring game, but I always think it's weird when we start calling out a fanbase because they didn't pay to go watch a glorified practice. I haven't gone to a spring game in about five years. I don't begrudge those who go, but ... we're talking about practice man.
While it is nice to have some bragging rights about the spring game attendance, I don't know why it is relevant to compare to other schools. Be proud of the support but what does it matter if they don't fill the stadium?
If they want to buy rings for the team who cares? Nice touch for the players and a piece of their history. Their history is not the same as the Huskers. Its like rushing a BB court when you upset someone, act like you have been there. Who knows what the current staff would do as well, maybe the same thing? Then what would you say? Leave room.

Yep we did expand a bit. I personally think the rings are stupid and that why we have some unfinished business in 2016.

Ok before I post this comment. It's out of complete obligoration of influence of alcoholic proportion. With that said. If I was a Hawkeyes fan, my guest room would be completely bare and boring with a ring of a rose bowl obliteration, I mean appearance. But if I was a Husker fan, I would have to fill it with national accolades. Title, conference championship banners. All American recipients. Stuff that's worth a damn fawk eyes. I'm done. This was discussed a little on the radio this morning and Sipple made a pretty good point (man, that was tough to write), where can you wear these rings? People will ask you about the ring if you wear it in public. And then you have to say it it because you went 12-0 and pray that the person doesn't remember the end of the story.

That MSU ring is very cool, and the Nebraska ring is OK, but that Ohio State ring couldn't be any more effing gaudy and hideous. Good grief, it's an animated billboard for bad taste.
I'm pretty sure the Ohio St ring was supposed to say "OHIO", but they let Cardale draw it up and nobody spellchecked him before it went off to the jeweler's.
