Illinois (Fatboy) vs South Carolina (The SEC)

If the zebras don't blow the "fumble" call on Illinois first drive, this game would have been decided already. The fact that they didn't even signal fumbled initially was fishy, then seeing the back view where the RB looked to be down makes it even worse.

Krull, I don't agree that the game would have been decided, but I do agree with you on this:

1. The Line judge and Head Linesman both went in with no call; they didn't even kill the clock. They both didn't signal.
2. South Carolina ended up with the ball in the endzone. 20 seconds goes by with nothing then we have....#3.
3. The referee said, "Guys, let's just call it a fumble/touchback so it can go to video review.

BB is a good coach. Folks here just don’t want to admit it. Big win for the BIG.
Too many people can't separate their personal dislike of a coach from their coaching ability. There was a long thread on this board recently on Mack Brown and there was a fair amount of sentiment expressed that he was overrated. Fact is, he was 8-1 against NU during his B12 Texas tenure, and that was when we didn't suck. Tough to convince me he couldn't coach with that record. BB has a 5-1 career record against NU, including 2 wins in 2012 against a 10 win Husker team.

Yeah I can’t stand Bert but he can definitely coach. Plus he knows how to exploit rules and capitalize on bad officiating. That’s why his O-Linemen at Wisconsin tackled everyone until someone told them otherwise.

One win in 2012. NU had a comeback win in Memorial.

My dislike against him, other than him beating us regularly, was that he's a sloth that has no business being married to a hot a$$ blond wife. 🤯

All you Bert lovers, why did he suck at Arkansas?
Hyperbole. Winning at a high level consistently at Arkansas, Kentucky, Miss st, Vandy, and formerly ole Miss is no easy task in the SEC. You can recruit very well and still be 10th in the conference in recruiting. They should’ve stuck with him IMO, but the they rolled with Pittman. Soon enough, Petrino will have the gig again. He is their best shot at greatness.

BAU for certain NU fans to downgrade programs and coaches that simply beat their ass head to head, year after year…
