he start time for Saturday's (Oct. 3) Big Ten conference opener between Illinois and Nebraska has been pushed back to 3:02 p.m. CT. The Illini-Huskers game, which was originally scheduled for a 2:42 p.m. kick, will now start 3:02 p.m. and will be televised live on BTN.

The time shift is due to a change in the Michigan at Maryland game, which was originally scheduled to be played at 7 pm CT but was moved to 11 am CT due to the impending weather impact of Hurricane Joaquin in the area on Saturday. To provide as much time as possible following the conclusion of BTN's 11 am CT Minnesota-Northwestern and Michigan-Maryland games, BTN requested, and Illinois and Nebraska agreed, to the 3:02 p.m. CT kickoff.

With two games now being broadcast at 11 am CT on BTN, fans can go to btn.com/gamefinder to find their game locally. For cable subscribers, enter your zip code and provider into Gamefinder to find the games and alternate channels in your area. For subscribers of national providers (DirecTV, Dish, Verizon FiOS and AT&T U-verse), consult the graphic at the top of the Gamefinder page.

which begs the question: how many more beers can I consume with an additional 15 minutes prior to KO.

Take a shot for every drop back IL does. Every time NU gets a QB hurry or sack you don't have to take a shot. Who's down?

You mean who's left standing??? Laughing That's sounds like major punishment and miserable experience (and I do drink myself).

Supposed to be windy I hear. Maybe that'll help the pass D (and not hurt our pass O)

Wind might be our best pass D haha!

No fun indeed but what do you do. Nice of them to move the kickoff back to try and accommodate.

It's really the weather's fault that created this domino effect (and what impacts the weather? Jesus & Global Warming. What impacts Jesus? Jesus. What impacts Global Warming? Humans. So you see we really only have ourselves to blame for this potential inconvenience....) Smokin:eek::rolleyes:Cool

When we are on the short end of games overlapping it makes me crazy. However, even worse is when the game before ours is over, but they stay on it to do coach interviews, player highlights, trophy presentations, etc.
