I think I read that Bo stated he turned down more high-profile jobs to go to Youngstown State because he wanted to go back to his hometown and work under Jim Tressell. While that logic may be dismissed by some, I think it's just as believable as the reports that said Mike Riley turned down Alabama and USC to stay at Oregon State. Sometimes, it's about fit and where a person is at in their life.

Can I have expand on your statement. Do you not believe that Mike Riley was not extended the positions, or are you under the belief that he wasn't qualified for the position. And then if you could provide a link where Bo was offered/turned down a high profile gig? Thanks in advance.

I have provided a link that disputes your "beliefs"

"I had a family and I just couldn't take the risk," Riley explained. So he eventually went to Oregon State, while USC's frantic search for a new head coach still turned out OK.
