and we could get 25 good recruits in this class, who would we need to process? With Conrad likely getting a scholarship, we have 14 to give now. That means that 11 would have to leave. Just an idea:

We're talking about cutting into a good portion of our depth and cutting a lot of really good players for the hope that the new HS kids are better. Honestly, once you get past King, the other 10 may very well be fine contributors before they leave or are already good contributors.
The point of all of this is that all of the talk about cutting dead weight is overblown. It's not 2014 and we don't have a lot of obvious dead weight on the roster anymore. We'll have our normal attrition and probably free up 3-4 above the 14, but going any further would likely be a mistake unless that person is another Suh.
