If Warren Buffett cared about Husker Football

Maybe you should direct your question to the Peeds.

In the mean time if your a true hard core Husker fan you might want to think about contributing to it..
Why would I contribute to a fund that is run by a Scott Frost loyalist who continues to prey on booster relationships built based on his relationship with Frost?

I’m sure the Peeds are well intentioned but they are being grifted and the money is being allocated in such a way as to not maximize program benefit .. ie Henrich and Reimer

Snodgrass is also a client

Even if I had the kind of money Warren Buffett has, I personally would spend it on things like cancer research and feeding starving people in 3rd world countries. To me, that seems more worthwhile than spending it on sports.

When you have the kind of money he does you can do anything you want. I would probably do both.

He has said he pays less than his secretary by percentage a few times. He uses tax attorneys to be rich, act and behave as if he is for the “little guy” while being for himself. He has two things that have to happen 1-make as much mo way as he can 2-make it look like he the loving grandpa type who we should all just smile and nod at.
If one of the richest guys in the world says he isn't paying enough in taxes, then it's probably true. And the whole point seems to have flown over your head. Rich people can avoid paying taxes or pay lower taxes through deductions, the capital gains rate, and some real assholes use offshore tax shelters to evade paying taxes. In this case and a lot of cases, the wealthy are able to get by paying a lower tax rate than your average Joe.

Husker football is obviously a very low priority for Buffett, and that's okay. He has a lot more important things he's doing. Also he doesn't make bad investments, and handing kids who haven't proven a thing at the college level millions of dollars is about as bad of an investment there is.

Pretty sure Buffett gives alot to the state and city of Omaha. Apparently not enough! The roads are really bad in the State!
Even he can't control where the money goes once it is in the government's hands. A lot of people's pockets I'm sure.

If your goal is winning football games. NIL is not a bad investment. The top teams all have the top NIL operations. Jimmies and Joes win football games and in todays game that is how you get them.

Then you missed the point about all of the tax attorneys and his railroad cars full of money that find their way in through his various companies to the lawmakers who write those tax codes that allow him to one say I don’t pay enough in taxes, while to making sure he’s giving money to the legislatures that allow him to say I’m not paying enough in taxes because he’s saving a crap ton more by making those donations to lawmakers

Buffet is still reppin, when it comes to UNL. He's just blowin his WAD elsewhere when it comes to Football Mon$ySmokin

Uhh.
What is this and why don't I know about it? Is this something loosely affiliated Husker woman's football team. Who's our tight end?
Many questions.

It's his money and he has the right to spend it as he pleases. He donates a great deal of money for worthy causes and apparently football is not high on his priority list. To each their own!
Perhaps he thinks that helping the homeless and cancer research are higher priorities.

HOWEVER, they're also welcome to voluntarily pay more

Lingerie football league (now defunct) they were in Omaha to play a game a few years back. He got his pic taken with the team. Told the camera man, take your time.

Warren has promised to set up a charity that teaches people how to spell his last name.

Another chunk of money is going to his new restaurant, the Buffett Buffet.

A rich guy has tax attorneys... who would have thought?

I know right. Like a rich guy working to keep from paying his “fair share” whatever the hell that set of words that don’t mean the same to any two people.

Not that I knew of, I think the LFL played a game here on occasion like a neutral site. I could be wrong.
K. Yeah I could be wrong too. But I could have sworn they did. I even thought they were the "beef" and was pleasantly surprised they didn't look like they were due for a terminal appointment at Nebraska beef in Omaha in a few weeks 🤔 😳 😬

Aha. Googled it. Omaha heart played 2 games at Ralston per year. Was originally part of the lingerie football league then changed to legends football league...both LFL

If they would have needed a Tacklin Dummy, I would have been perfect.

Probably would get a penalty for Harassment though in today's woke environment.

I believe, its been stated before where he has said, the frame work for raising Husker funds is already in place. Some has said he has maybe contributed with no mention of his contributions. The money is there already in that we have paid in excess of 20 million to fired coaches who failed at their jobs as coaches!! Wasted monies!!! Warren sees this!
A common misconception in America is that more money solves everything. Some of the worst cities and schools bring in the most tax $ per capita. We have watched much lesser programs around us do so much more with less $. “A fool and his money are soon parted” has been the motto of this program for years.
