Been wrong plenty of times, but man, I liked what I saw from Gebbia in the spring game. It wasn't just the throws he made against our (admittedly bad) No. 1 defense. It was the way he moved his feet, scanned the field and made the right choices under duress (with few legit weapons to throw to).
In Frost we trust, but I think it would be a shame if Tristan isn't retained. All the others? I'm totally fine (as a fan) with them moving on.
Wouldn't it be cool if Tristan and Adrian compete for the starting position throughout spring? I bet Gebbia wins that competition, but with Martinez DEFINITELY playing as a freshman.
Given Frost's offense, and Martinez's superior running ability, both players could be used in different ways. Not usually a fan of a 2-QB system, but as our program rebuilds, I think it would be good in this case - unless one player is just head and shoulders above the others.
