I really hope there is a much better formula for next year, I really want him (Mike Riley) to succeed at Nebraska. I know, I know, Armstrong turns it over too many times, but Riley lets his coaches call the plays that Tommy gets in trouble with. They must correct for next year or it will be very similar to 2015.

The players played hard today, but the same old things came back to bite them in a game that was very winnable. Sorry, just venting I guess.

Langsdorf makes the call, I understand that. But the HC better have some say in a 4th and short situation and what kind of play call it is going to be. That was as bad a call as you could have wanted. Sure, maybe it ends up a td, but not with Tommy throwing it.

You play the true freshman because maybe he will learn from the stupid throws unlike this qb who single-handedly kills his team in games. We know what we have with Armstrong, let the young kid learn and grow. Question I ask is whats the worst that could happen we don't go to a bowl game next year?

4th and 1 and you throw a jump ball to the endzone when you could have kicked a field goal to get the game within 1 score or call a play with a better chance of getting a first daown? Horrible CALL!!

I think the Iowa game summed up the season as a whole. We are in position. but the coaches put players in bad spots. I'm not their for practice and everything else, but the product on tv is pretty unbearable. Get KJJ and his friends and try to clean house, if not bye bye sir.

There is absolutely no way you can play Armstrong next year. He's 3rd year starter with terrible mechanics, no field awareness, and is an indecisive runner. He has nothing but down side next year and there is no reason for us to expect much improvement.

There are always alternatives, but it ended up a fade and it was a bad call, period. You have a few better options in that situation, but it is what it is. Defense played damn good despite the two big run plays, wish they could have stopped those td's. Oh well, it's on to next year.

I agree, for someone who doesn't follow sports, and trying to defend TA is damn near impossible. He's just an athelictic body out there. Not a legit d1 qb. Throw stats at me all day but I've (we've) seen enough. Pick sixes and easy interceptions will put u away against an 0-11 team, let alone 11-0. Rant ended.

Iowa's best defense was simply to stack the line of scrimmage to limit the run game and wait for TA to make another bad decision in the passing game which would result in a huge mistake for the offense.

As frustrated as I am with the quarterback play and playcalling this entire season..Iowa had a sound defensive strategy today and should be given credit for playing the odds that we would make more than enough mistakes to lose another game.

Iowa's best defense was simply to stack the line of scrimmage to limit the run game and wait for TA to make another bad decision in the passing game which would result in a huge mistake for the offense.

As frustrated as I am with the quarterback play and playcalling this entire season..Iowa had a sound defensive strategy today and should be given credit for playing the odds that we would make more than enough mistakes to lose another game.

totally agree, just sucks to watch live. It's like watching someone cutt them selfs and can't prevent it.
