I keep receipts.

There is a system of inspectors general in each federal agency whose job it is to find fraudulent behavior and waste. I don’t know if all of these IG‘s got fired but I know that a lot of them got fired. I suspect that the activity of these IGS over the years has run up against members of Congress because one man’s waste is a Congress Critter’s treasured program. I would think that if your goal is to find efficiencies and root out waste that you wouldn’t fire the individuals who are experts at finding where that waste is.
As a fiscal conservative, I cringe when I hear that.
But of course this operation has nothing to do with finding efficiency and cutting waste.
I think the proof is in the speed at which this is all taking place. And then calling out entire organizations as "criminal"-- various government organizations, Christian charities. And there are young people without security clearance diving into government systems and accessing our personal data. That's flat out wrong. There's no empty political rhetoric that will convince me otherwise. I'm not that stupid.

You just wait until Elon gets access to Husker Board account information!

IGs' work gets almost no press, but they battle Congress, contractors and other interested parties on a regular basis in order to protect the public dime.

Elon is WAY too trusting of the young people who are doing all of this investigating. Fools rush in where wise men fear to tread is very operational. What's the hurry? Take the time to get things right. It's stupid to think that such complicated work needs to be done in a few weeks.
Time adds layers of cover.

2.Billion went to a “green” entity tied to Stacy Abrams. Its previous revenue was $100. There has been RAMPANT corruption that needs to be addressed and Congress can’t or won’t do it. It’s about time they’ve had an external audit and I’ll remind everybody who Elon voted for 4 years ago.

Who audits NU?

AP links are below. Sounds like it's a large scale grant program to promote clean energy and energy efficiency in disadvantaged communities. Maybe you think the whole climate thing is a big scam, or are generally opposed to spending money on disadvantage communities. If so, of course you hate this program. But there isn't any evidence of corruption.
Also, it's Stacey Abrams, and in this instance, Zeldin used her as a key word to get folks like you riled up.

🙄🙄 I guarantee this loser poster still wears a mask. He freaked out that Florida opened too soon during Covid. He forced his students to write a paper on why DeSantis is the devil.

I'm all for cutting waste and spending. But the fastest way to MORE government corruption is to give a bunch of "loyalists" unchecked power and unlimited access to our personal and public information. You know that right?

It's the old fox in the henhouse. Just yell DEI a few times or call a Christian charity a money laundering operation to throw people off your scent.

From a $100 budget to 2 million in a matter of days. Seems reasonable to me🙄

Kind of funny how nearly a year after the AP wrote that article, DOGE "found" out about this money. It looks like it was literally in the paper. Lol. And these are supposedly the smartest people in the world.

The Dunning-Kruger effect is thick within the DOGE set.
