I've had the tickets for a while (thanks to RSS), and he's talked about wanting to go so bad. Well, I finally told him tonight. First Husker game for him - first time to Nebraska. In fact, he caught a couple big silver salmon this past Sunday that we're taking down to the tailgate (along with some sockeye salmon steaks and a few dozen fresh oysters).
And sure enough....I get an email from my fellow RSS buddy that he's upgraded our tickets just because of my son and it being his first game. Only in Nebraska!
We leave Ketchikan Thursday, get to Lincoln Friday night.
