Does anybody know if he is walking on or where he is going? I thought he played TE but I see he's listed by Rivals as a WR. Kid has great hands and good open field moves but lacks some top end speed. 6-2, 190. Would be a nice pick up for somebody as a possession receiver.

We should offer him. But what do I know?

Don't think he has the kind of speed you would expect from a scholarship WR but with his frame and hands, he might be a valuable developmental guy. Supposedly we offered him a "preferred walk on spot". Not sure if that means he gets an invite to the 105 man roster for fall camp or what.

I think if he has enough talent to be invited in as a preferred walk on that we should offer him a scholie just for the connections. We already have the son of Keyshawn and Les Miles. Add in Kurt Warner's son?

I am only being half serious... but it is a consideration.

He didn't sign anywhere because he's D2/NAIA caliber athlete. He never had any offers, beyond schools like Asuza Pacific or Arizona Christian. He was looking at different walk on options because his family is loaded and they can afford to pay for school anywhere.

ok. Then I can see why nobody has offered. I really know nothing about him. This helps.

I was being kind when I said he didn't have scholarship speed for a WR. Great hands though and he looks like he has the frame to put on some weight. Seems to be able to get open and catches the ball really well in traffic. TE maybe but definitely a walk on if anything.

Not having speed his weird for him being Kurts son. His mom must be slow.

Having a loaded family can hurt one's chances of getting an offer. Obviously if you are a great player you're getting an offer (see KJJ) but I know for a fact that borderline recruits will not see offers from some teams hoping they walk on because their families are loaded.
