Huskers are back-to-back Big10 tourney champs!!

chatgpt says the following...

Yes, as of May 24, 2025, the Nebraska Cornhuskers baseball team is considered to be on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament. With a regular-season record of 28–27 overall and 15–15 in Big Ten play, Nebraska's path to the NCAA Tournament largely hinges on their performance in the Big Ten Tournament. ([SI][1])

The Cornhuskers have made a compelling case by advancing to the championship game of the Big Ten Tournament. They secured victories over Michigan State (5–4 in 10 innings), top-seeded Oregon (7–3), and Penn State (6–3) to reach the final, where they will face #2 seed UCLA on Sunday, May 25. ([Wikipedia][2])

Winning the Big Ten Tournament would grant Nebraska an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. However, even without the tournament title, their recent strong performances against quality opponents may bolster their case for an at-large bid. The final decision will be revealed during the NCAA Selection Show on Monday, May 26, at 12:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2 or ESPNU. ([NCAA.com][3])

In summary, Nebraska remains on the bubble, but their recent tournament success has significantly improved their chances of securing a spot in the NCAA Tournament.

If they win tonight they will be 31-27 and 55ish in the RPI, but also 7-11 in quad 1's. I hope they don't make us have to find out, but I can see them squeeking in even if they were to lose to UCLA.
If we lose to UCLA our season is over with.

I’m sure iowa will still get into the NCAA. But I think they lost 5 of their last 6 games and I don’t think their RPI is all that great. Would be beautiful if we win today and take their spot with the automatic bid. Think about how happy God will be, he deserves this…
