Whether he starts or not, Okeke needs to play more. NU is getting pushed around in the middle.
I’m talking both ends of the floor. This of course is all assuming Morrow was still okay playing down low.
Supposedly he thought he should be playing the 3 and wasn't happy with his role so..... KU's bigs would be eating him alive too. He would be giving up 5-6 inches to a couple of them and they're athletic as heck and Ed wouldn't have been able to get a shot off.
We're better. We can win some games in the B1G. Bad closeout on that last 3 by us. Let KU have too good of a look
Bad closeout but that whole play started with a bulldozer moving screen that gets called about 99.9 percent of the time,

Well that result sucks, but a last-second loss to KU won't wreck Nebraska's season. If they can keep up this effort in conference play, Huskers will be okay. But as we've seen, that's a big if.
Would have been a good resume builder for post season consideration if we get that far.

Oh it would have been a huge win, I just don't think it's a big setback unless the Huskers fall into the meltdown mode we've seen the past couple of seasons.
Some of our fans just refuse to give any credit when it’s due. KU usually blows us out. We have a talented team this year and it’s all on them and the coaches as to how far they go. I do wish this crap show by refs would just stop already and let the boys play. It’s getting so dam old seeing our players getting smashed around and if we look at the opponent wrong it’s a flagrant foul.
Great call by Self to get an easy bucket off the 1-3-1. But, I can’t blame Miles for Copeland sagging off. He should know in that instance you just can’t give up a three. It can be debated if Miles should have called a timeout but I like letting them play. Sucks. Would have been a big boost to the season. Need to find a way to get 10 wins in the Big Ten.
WhereTF was Thomas Allen the second half. I was waiting for Timmy to set up the drive and kick to him but let's just leave you're best shooter on the bench with a minute left. After Self called time out I told everyone in the room they're gonna do a drive a kick an sure enough, bang! Out coached at the end!

We'll see. This team is talented enough to play its way onto the NCAA Tournament bubble, but it's also fragile enough to fall into the annual funk.
If they play that way the rest of the season we have a outside shot at making the big dance..

I think we'll have to do better than that to get in, because the Big Ten is pretty weak this year. You need "resume wins" to get in. If we had beaten Creighton or KU, that would have been huge.
The only Top 25 RPI teams we have left on the schedule are Purdue and Michigan. Need to win one of those. Our best wins are Minnesota (48th in RPI) and Boston College (80th). That's not going to cut it.
