This straight up pisses me off. I realize it’s Cincinnati, but we can pay $15 million to fire a coach 2 weeks early, but we can’t fork over the money necessary to cancel this and schedule a home opener in Lincoln?

I agree. Pisses me off too. We need to schedule three straight home games to begin the season, just like we used to. It is the recipe for success and we need to get back to it.

The 1994 and 1995 teams didn't play at home until game 3 each season.

1994: vs. West Virginia at The Meadowlands, at Texas Tech
1995: at Oklahoma State, at Michigan State
