Huskers QB commit TJ Lateef finishing prep career in style, ready to compete at Nebraska

Lateef's HS team is 8-3 and ranked 16th nationally. He's having a good senior year and is ready to compete for the QB job when he gets here.

I like his attitude. From that short quote he sure sounds like a guy who doesn't expect anything to be handed to him. But if he earns it, it's his.

I love it! Really need to get this kid on campus and hope he is as advertised. Love DR and DK but imperative that we get a legit baller at the QB position. I THOUGHT DR was that but I'm not sure now. He has a lot to improve on and I'm sure he will. That said the better QBs you bring in the better. If a guy leaves he leaves. Let the games begin ...

People talk about him leaving, but I don’t see it. What would be his rationale, that he was misused? His tape clearly shows that he’s got issues that he needs to work on. He’s not exactly balling out, trying to save his team
