Nebraska's 4-0 against creampuffs and 0-1 against one of the best teams in the country. Friday's game against Cincy should be the actual barometer as to how this season could go. If we hang with, or even beat the Bearcats, it could be a season as magical as two years ago, especially considering how weak the Big Ten is looking so far this early season.
If we get punked again, it could be another long season, with 2016-17 the year the team needs to prove something. I don't like Cincy's size when it comes to matchups. They're better offensively and defensively. On the other hand, if we can win that game, and we handle the Hawkeyes as well, Friday could be a real good day.
