I'm with you on this one. Looks clear for Friday from noon'ish on until later that night. Surprising they don't play 2 that day, unless they are thinking about playing 2 on Sunday (still very cold that day too).
I'm totally confused. Based on current forecasts, the possibility of getting in a game any time Saturday is very near zero. And Sunday seems questionable, too. Not because of temperatures but because there might still be snow on the field.
A double-header starting at noon on Friday would almost certainly get played. As it is, we might be looking at another weekend with two games lost.

I believe its a money deal mainly, by cancelling a game they are giving every season ticket holder free general admission tickets to another game. They used to not care but the last few years they will wait until the last minute to schedule a double header or cancel a ball game it seems.
