And Indiana & Purdue. Gotta stay focused on the road against IU! Potentially a 7-0 NU vs 5-2 Badger team. Still can't see Whisky beating Michigan or OSU.Going to be a huge game in Madison....
Ohhh wait beat Illinois.
They can beat Michigan, but I don't think there's a college team that can beat Ohio State this year (unless they absolutely tank in a game.)
Edit: I'm not saying they will beat Michigan, but I think they are capable of doing it without it being a fluke.
I didn't see them beating LSU either till I found out LSU sucks on offense now.
Like too see them lose both of them games too along with Minnesota knocking off Iowa in two weeks.
If we take care of business we don't need to worry about anyone else losing any other games. While I wouldn't turn down backing into the division title, I would rather we win it fair and square by sweeping the West and at winning at least two of our three crossover games.
Agreed, but in just in case we don't beat them in Madison and lose to tOSU we would need them to have 3 losses and Iowa would be the only team that could knock them off in the West Division.
After rewatching the game today I'm pretty happy. There was no reason to not be up 31-7 midway through the 3rd quarter. That's not too shabby! We have some real talent and if we play tough, disciplined football we should hang in there with most anybody. What a difference a year makes!
At least 3 teams ahead of NU will lose this week. No guarantee NU would jump any of those teams that lose (assuming NU takes care of business), but NU has a great opportunity to become very relevant over the next month.
If we keep improving and play smart, focused football the season will take care of itself. We might not win every game but most of us will be very happy with where we end up and where we are going.
Geez, 15 already; I feel a little dizzy. Just keep working and don't look down.
