While I'm a die hard Husker football fan and ticket holder, if the girls win the title it'll give them 6 natty's to the football program's 5 and gives Cook 5 to his credit. The football team has 5 split by 2 coaches Devaney 2 and Osborne 3. Women's Volleyball has become the predominant women's sport in college over women's basketball.
Think you better check the TV ratings on that one bud! Women's basketball get 3 times the ratings that volleyball does.
Wrong, it's taken over. That's all you hear about nationally is Volleyball all season and barely hear anything about women's basketball until the tourney.

Ehhhh, I mean, I guess now that the Clark girl is gone but the last two years it was all basketball.
Volleyball is in a tough spot because they don't know how to market it just yet. It is way more exciting in person than on TV. They don't do a great job marketing players (just yet) and they don't really have a male counterpart to help them.

I gotta say, watching Pitt vs Louisville, NU looked miles better than both these teams against Wisconsin.
Pitt just proved they were overrated. We would spank them, just like we did last year. Michael Brunz predicted Louisville would beat them.
Yes they played such a sloppy match with so many mistakes to take down the #1 overall seed 3-1…LOL!!!

Maybe for their standards but if we get “NU v Wisconsin” form, and the cards play like this, they’re going to get destroyed by the Huskers. They don’t look in the same league.
Did you watch our match? The ladies were absolute machines they made virtually zero dumb mistakes. Everything Wisconsin got was well earned.
We're lucky that Louisville did the dirty work in ousting Pitt. Now, let's take care of the Nittany Lions! GO BIG RED!

Definitely one of the reasons I had, both teams missed what Lexi makes look like easy digs. Also more simple mistakes and mis-hits than we see from the Huskers. Easy road to the hardware!
