Pitt hasn't seen a Defense anywhere near as good as ours all year. We're also 14-0 all time against them, and swept them last year with a team nowhere as good as this years squad.

Trying to take that winning aura from the vb team to the men’s basketball program.
He has a very punchable face. Probably because he was a Badger.
We'll sweep Penn St Thursday. Their 2 losses were sweeps to Pitt and Wisconsin. The same team we swept 3 times this year. The game in Happy Valley was a fluke as we left our A game at home and played like total garbage and deserved to lose. Even though they are 33-2, not all 33-2 records are the same. Penn St isn't in our league and really not close, they aren't even in Wiscy's league either.

Before we lost to psu, I said Pitt and NU were the 2 best teams and then there was everyone else.

You claimed Penn st “isn’t that good”. That’s a laughable remark. A team that “isn’t that good” playing in the big ten would have less that 15 wins.
They have no chance in hell Thursday. They are nowhere near as tough as Wisconsin. Had Wisconsin been in their bracket, Wiscy woulda bounced them. no if's and but's about it.

Congrats to the ladies on the final four berth! I do wish they were playing Penn State in the finals rather than the semis to assure one of them would win it all. I'll always root for Nebraska in football but in the case of volleyball it's difficult to root against a local (in my case) team.

Clueless not so much as our seniors minus Beason and Landfair were the 2021 number 1 ranked class coming out of HS headlined by the number 1 player in the country in Kennedi Orr.

Penn St may have a couple of good players, but compared to ours their overall roster is a joke and even a joke compared to Wisconsin's roster. This is fact. Penn St is gonna get curb stomped Thursday. We have unbelievable depth on this roaster, which is pretty much plug and play without missing a beat boasting uber quality all the way through the roster. Which is something Penn St, nor Wisconsin has the luxury of having. Wiscy does have some good quality depth though, can't say the same about Penn St.

We have more than enough returning to make a legit run at it again next year.
While Izzy was the number 1 overall, their number 1 ranked class isn't there yet, to be honest even with that class I don't see them winning a natty. It'll be awhile before they win one again. Their current coach is a FAR cry from Russ Rose and is nowhere near Cook's level and proboably never will be. Coaching matters.

I bet Nebraska picks up another major transfer this year with 2 leaving. Wonder if Kennedy Martin from Florida would be interested? Just look at how well things worked out for Merritt. Plus I've heard Florida's coach is possibly retiring. Who knows

I think we absolutely can win it all this year. But not convinced that we will. I believe we should, but the last 2 games will not be easy. I hope I’m wrong. But this optimist doesn’t share in your optimism.

Doesn’t mean they aren’t any good. A team goes 19-1 the big ten volleyball does not fall in the category of a bad team . We will win on Thursday. But it seems like you have a personal issue with PSU with your posts on them .

The reason I said we're gonna curb stomp them is 3 reasons. 1. The girls are pissed at the way they humiliated themselves in that match when they were the better team 2nd, we had to split the title with them when that shoulda been ours outright and 3rd, it cost us a perfect conference record.
If you watched our match against Wisconsin yesterday, That is what 2 uber elite teams look like while that 2nd match they were in and barely won not so much as there were sooo many errors on both sides and our match on both sides made Penn St and Creighton look slow as snails and yes there is such thing as speed in volleyball speed kills in any sport. Wiscy destroyed them back in November sweeping them and making them look stupid. I promise you this, had Wisconsin been in their bracket Wiscy woulda bounced their asses right out of the tourney.
That match against Dayton last week, Cook was pissed pretty much the entire match and you could see it by the look on his face and body language sitting in his chair and when he was up because we played like hot garbage even though we won the 1st 2 sets and then when we lost the 3rd that was it. Cook ripped them up and down. The 4th set, Dayton got a good look at our A game as we destroyed and humilited them which they shoulda all match and the girls way of telling them you aren't going any further your going home like it or not.
Incidentally, we have the fewest set losses out of the other 3. 1 to be precise Pitt has 2, Louisville has 3 and Penn St has 4 and 24 for the season while technically we shouldn't even have 1. Another thing our side of the bracket was/is tougher than Pitt's side of the bracket. Penn St is gonna get our A game Thursday and what I mean by that is, Penn State is gonna get the team Wiscy saw Sunday and our A game they aren't good enough to compete with. We're gonna curb stomp them into oblivion. Regardless where they finished in the B1G, the top 2 teams in the B1G are us and Wiscy.

I have a bad feeling about the PSU game. They demolished us before. No reason to get too cocky now

I'm pretty confident in this match up. Nebraska is very experienced and familiar with the atmosphere there in Louisville. PSU will have some nerves and they are a different team away from their home court. Gonna be competitive but I'll take the Huskers in 4.
