RPI with just Big 10 teams makes very little sense toward the 64 team NCAA tournament...

What happens in two weeks and we don’t have our home series with Northwestern?

Yeah, RPI basically can't be used for the Big Ten teams

Look at how high Rutgers skyrocketed!

Even though RPI for Big Ten teams is useless in the context of the broader NCAA, it is still great to use it as a barometer internal to the conference. Definitely a unique situation we don't get to examine often.

Minnesota, a Big Ten team, is RPI 295. I mean, there is only 293 teams playing ball this year. Good grief.

Getting swept by Rutgers matters more. At this point we are a 2 seed which I’m ok with. Just maintain that ranking and all is good. Hosting went out the window though.
