Yep. Miles isn't a genius but he's a good coach and he's the best recruiter we've had in a long time. Also, outstanding move throwing that zone at Maryland late in the game. Terps didn't know how to handle it at all. Not a fan of playing zone the whole game, but it's a great thing to have in your arsenal because college teams often get flat-footed against them.
Can anyone really find out this information? I'd love to knowodds of neb starting 2 and 0 a week ago prob were like 500 to 1.
All it takes is for me to turn the game off. You're welcome!
Not only that, but top 50 road winsRPI=49 now. Second top 50 win. Need Indiana to go on a nice run and finish top 50 RPI.
The last thing we should be lookIng at now is RPI. Do not pin your hopes on an NCAA appearance this season. If you do, you will be likely disappointed.RPI=49 now. Second top 50 win. Need Indiana to go on a nice run and finish top 50 RPI.
He even said, in his post game interview 'I hate playing zone, but when Gill went down we realized it fits our team really well' Maryland looked lost as soon as we threw it at them.Yep. Miles isn't a genius but he's a good coach and he's the best recruiter we've had in a long time.
There is no such bet available so those odds didn't exist. I guess one could look at the odds of winning as an underdog and then multiply it by the odds of doing it again. But I don't know how to find those odds. Can anyone really find out this information? I'd love to know
Love it when a coach selectively uses a zone defense, because teams get so dependent on ball screens that they suddenly don't know what to do. Maryland looked completely befuddled, and the timing could not have been better.Yep. Miles isn't a genius but he's a good coach and he's the best recruiter we've had in a long time.
Thankfully their freshman's arms got tired from draining 3s all game so that he couldn't hit a shot late. He passed up a couple of open looks at the end there after he missed one.Love it when a coach selectively uses a zone defense, because teams get so dependent on ball screens that they suddenly don't know what to do. But the Huskers also won this game by playing terrific man-to-man defense in the first half. The comeback was epic, but it doesn't mean anything if Maryland hangs 50 on you in the first half and coasts the rest of the way.
Does any team give up 3 possession leads faster than Nebraska?
On to the NFL today.
Yeah that kid killed NU for much of the game, but I was still impressed with the overall defensive effort. To hold Triimble in check the whole first half and give up almost nothing in the paint was important. Great use of the 1-3-1 zone late in the game and a great, great comeback, but this was the type of game that's too often lost by halftime. Huskers looked well-prepared and played hard right out of the gate.Thankfully their freshman's arms got tired from draining 3s all game so that he couldn't hit a shot late. I'm not expecting it. I said before the season NIT would be a good boost and year. But honestly, I hope he staff and team are thinking big dance. obviously lots of games left but if we take care of home court 10-12 wins is a possibility. The last thing we should be lookIng at now is RPI. I will continue to look at RPI, thank you very much. The last thing we should be lookIng at now is RPI. Do not pin your hopes on an NCAA appearance this season. If you do, you will be likely disappointed.
Wild game. Huskers played great D in the first half and shot the ball pretty well - up by 4 at the break. Trimble awakes in the second half and Terps go on a 17-0 run. Huskers fell down by 13 but didn't panic, crawled back in it and finished with a 14-0 run.We won? Damn wish i coulda watched. Wow.
Cliff notes on the w anyone?.
Obviously this is all Eichorsts fault. We won? Damn wish i coulda watched. Wow.

I didn't refer to a kiss of death but rather not getting hopes up for something that is very unlikely. But of course feel free to look at it.I will continue to look at RPI, thank you very much.
Also, quick update: nobody here is on the team, and looking at a ranking is not some kind of kiss of death.
Well actually TO hired Miles so it's TO's fault too.Obviously this is all Eichorsts fault.
We lose to Gardner-Webb at home but take to IU and Maryland on the road.
I hate that loss, and it still might cost Nebraska a postseason bid. However, college basketball illustrates in season development more than any other sport. Young teams can actually benefit from terrible losses.

There were lots of us that were super high on Watson early on. First time I saw him play. Ed Morrow said it best when he told Miles after Watson committed, "that guys a game changer" coach.Oh, I'm very happy about the win. Think that AW3 missed out on a special year, but addition by subtraction. Someone was super high on Watson early on. Give that guy the "I know my stuff" hat to wear while posting on this board. Still can't be giving up 17-0 runs. I don't care of the excuse.
Somehow we have to blame EichorstWell actually TO hired Miles so it's TO's fault too.
Well he could have fired Miles after last year I guess...Somehoe we have to blame Eichorst
