Two of them, Mendelson and Jurevicius, start for the number 3 team in the country, Penn St. The third one, Batenhorst, starts for the number 23 team in the country, USC.
Two players transferred in and can't crack the lineup, Landfair who was the star of the number 19 team, Minnesota was also B1G player of the year 2 seasons ago, The other Blackwell was 3 time All-WCC First Team.
Landfair would start at about every other team but 1 or 2, Blackwell would start at all but a handful of teams. Our DSs, Choboy and Mauch, would be starting at Libero for anybody but maybe 10-15 teams.
Oh and Sigler a 2025 recruit just moved up to the number 1 recruit in the 2025 class.
Only one team comes close to the talent that Cook has gathered, Texas. While I don't think it's fair to say anything less than a title would be a disappointment, but anything less than a conference championship and a return to the Final Four would be a disappointment.
The acquisition of talent is just way over the top.
