I'm reading awesome things about Zac Duval and his team and their S&C results.
My question is how much difference can there really be between S&C staffs and approaches?
We just had Philip with USC ties (presumably with top tier, progressive S&C concepts) and before that a guy from Iowa (with players that routinely beat us up physically), so why would Zac have a secret recipe that they don't?
Same with nutrition. How many different ways are there to counsel players on nutrition and what's put on a training table?
I ask because it's hard for me to fathom how we might make a 180 degree turn of an overall soft, seemingly weak and unathletic team into something much different than that. Gotta believe this is much more about accountability, urgency and oversight than some secret sauce in the lifting regimen itself.
Welcome thoughts from those who are more familiar than I with S&C concepts.
