How many all-conf players will we have on DEFENSE this year?

Interested to get an idea of what kind of talent you guys think we'll have this year on defense. Name the players who will be all-conference. Do we have any All-Americans?

If the scheme is good those two can be first team. Valentine can be second team and maybe a corner also.

All-Americans either need to have a ridiculous amount of preseason media hype or they must put together a monster season.

All conference is a crap shoot. I've learned the Big Ten media sucks. There are alot of beat writers and broadcasters who don't do their homework. That may stem from some major media markets within the league. Guys from Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, and Philly seem to consider college football a nuisance.

Correct here. When it comes to all conference, I trust the coaches. They know who are the difference makers and who they have to scheme for. on a national scale I think the media is better at making these selections. Coaches aren't breaking down film from other conferences but the media who vote generally know college football.
