This is his 9th year and he's won 55 games, 2nd most of any ISU coach ever. Low expectations.
Campbell always coaches scared against Iowa. I have not seen ISU call a single play to challenge Iowa’s secondary. In what universe does ISU bully Iowa’s front 7?
If they ever want to improve, it’s time to move on. But I don’t think they will. They like getting spanked by the Hawkeyes.

What has ISU ever done to make you think they can do better than Campbell? They’re in purgatory. They have a good coach that will never be great but risk being a doormat if they fire him.
Dan Mccarney(sp) had them going pretty well before they suddenly had expectations.
He is far exceeding expectations. They are competitive in almost every game, occasionally win against someone they shouldn’t, and win a few more than they lose. He keeps the fans occupied until basketball season where they are pretty good.
See Dan McCarney’s results. If they want to take a chance on someone else they could be better. No guarantees of the next guy being any better. Case in point every Nebraska hire since Frank Solich. Making a change means taking a risk. I don’t think ISU will do it but they could end up better.
They should stick with him as long as he wants. They have been competitive in the Big 12 under him. They've had 6 winning seasons in 7 years.

Can you dorks stop thinking Iowa has some great defense? They just let up 20 points in 30 minutes, including a drive to lose the game.
