That’s impressive considering the size of brown bags full of cash they’re handing out in Eugene. In the 70s OU was the king of NIL.They got a 5-star flip today.
Those Dealerships down there like giving out vehiclesNIL BABY ! The ‘old’ ways of doing things regarding recruiting are no more. Get them on campus, hook up those NIL deals and cross your fingers that 50% are still around 2 years later. Rinse and repeat.
They reload and always will. The true top 7 or 8 teams will continue to dominate. The next 7 or 8 will be tier 2. Then the rest of us will hope to catch lightning in a bottle and crack the top 15 every decade or so. Might be a stretch but every 15 years. It’s been over 20 for us to even win a conf championship and they ain’t changing any time soon.14 (4) star recruits and (1) 5 star.
That guy runnin the show is out of it.
What a waste! Be alot transferring out!
I'll take Lincoln over Norman everyday of the weekBecause Oklahoma has been more successful in recent years than us. They transitioned from Bob Stoops to Lincoln Riley in the time where our most successful coach was Bo Pelini. Venables is a big name, but unknown if he will pan out.
Norman is probably no better a city than Lincoln is. But you have the perception that Lincoln is corn fields for whatever reason.
Norman is closer to recruiting hot beds, and probably is one of the few schools with better name recognition.
Them moving to the SEC will be interesting.
Mom didnt know he wanted to sign with Oregon. Told him she wouldn’t sign Oregon papers. Sounds like momma may be on OU’s payroll. You just know some sleazy shit went down in the last 24hrs on that one.

I would have been inclined to agree with you before Matt Rhule, NIL and the transfer portal. All of those proved that Nebraska is still a very strong brand name despite the recent struggles. In fact, according to this list of the most watched college football teams of the year, Nebraska was 16th in the nation, and Oklahoma was 23rd. Only Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State had more viewers in the B1G.They reload and always will. The true top 7 or 8 teams will continue to dominate. The next 7 or 8 will be tier 2. Umm.... I think that is Trevor Lawrence!!!
P*ssy is a pretty powerful drug too 🤷♂️
That’s his GF. She committed to OU soccer and he’s following

Yep! Norman is nothing and Oklahoma City is waaay overratedI'll take Lincoln over Norman everyday of the week
Proximity to Texas is the only positive of Norman. We rolled through Norman on the way to Dallas. Nothing special. Small, hot, windy, smelled like the stock yards.I'll take Lincoln over Norman everyday of the week
