14 (4) star recruits and (1) 5 star.
That guy runnin the show is out of it.
What a waste! Be alot transferring out!

Because Oklahoma has been more successful in recent years than us. They transitioned from Bob Stoops to Lincoln Riley in the time where our most successful coach was Bo Pelini. Venables is a big name, but unknown if he will pan out.

Norman is probably no better a city than Lincoln is. But you have the perception that Lincoln is corn fields for whatever reason.

Norman is closer to recruiting hot beds, and probably is one of the few schools with better name recognition.

Them moving to the SEC will be interesting.

With the portal class the recruiting rankings obviously don't mean nearly as much as they used to mean. Still better to have higher rankings than not but the much bigger key will be which recruits stick and are developed during their careers.

NIL BABY ! The ‘old’ ways of doing things regarding recruiting are no more. Get them on campus, hook up those NIL deals and cross your fingers that 50% are still around 2 years later. Rinse and repeat.
Those Dealerships down there like giving out vehicles

They reload and always will. The true top 7 or 8 teams will continue to dominate. The next 7 or 8 will be tier 2. Then the rest of us will hope to catch lightning in a bottle and crack the top 15 every decade or so. Might be a stretch but every 15 years. It’s been over 20 for us to even win a conf championship and they ain’t changing any time soon.

I'll take Lincoln over Norman everyday of the week

I would have been inclined to agree with you before Matt Rhule, NIL and the transfer portal. All of those proved that Nebraska is still a very strong brand name despite the recent struggles. In fact, according to this list of the most watched college football teams of the year, Nebraska was 16th in the nation, and Oklahoma was 23rd. Only Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State had more viewers in the B1G.

There is no reason NU shouldn't be competing for B1G championships every year, and with the CFP expanding, Nebraska may even be in the mix depending on how Rhule does.

Things have changed yet again across the college football landscape. Except this time, they have changed in Nebraska's favor. Finally.

Oklahoma and recruiting vioations, go hand in hand and they've been on probation twice for it. Let that one sink in for a minute. The last time in 88, 1 vote and 1 vote only saved them from the death penalty.
