I said this a few weeks ago that all these teams will have Nebraska's full attention. Payback is a bitch!Ohio State? Who is that?
There is the next game to work at first. I want to see Northwestern beat soundly.

You mean the game plan where MSU dominated both sides of the line of scrimmage? That game plan allowed MSU to overcome 2 turnovers deep in their own territory to win.Hope they run that game plan they did against MSU last season.
I mean that no forward pass thing OSU tried last year on them.
If you thought that was a well called game by OSU......MSU still had to win, but they played right in your hands. You mean the game plan where MSU dominated both sides of the line of scrimmage? That game plan allowed MSU to overcome 2 turnovers deep in their own territory to win.
we wont and it will probably be ugly but there is always a chance to play again in indy
I'm not saying it was a well called game...just saying that MSU imposed its will on Ohio State...which some seem to discount or ignore when the give the narrative of that game.If you thought that was a well called game by OSU......MSU still had to win, but they played right in your hands.
You don't know that.
I believe Riley has himself a very gritty hard-nosed team. We just need to do the little things to be successful against anyone.
1)be smart with the ball
2)limit big plays from scrimmage
3)play solid on special teams
4)play tough
Football is one of those games that can be incredibly overanalyzed. Do the little things and you can win a lot of games. And those include ones you were given little chance in.
I couldn't discount the game just because your backup quarterback was playing.I'm not saying it was a well called game...just saying that MSU imposed its will on Ohio State...which some seem to discount or ignore when the give the narrative of that game.
Wisconsin will be on a four-game losing streak when we face them. They will be out of the division race. Who knows, maybe they'll still give us a decent game though. At Wiscy will be the big one, highly ranked, huge division implications, etc. if we win that one and lose at OSU, things are still looking good.
I understand the point you are trying to make but what a foot in mouth post...there most important player, JT Barrett, is from Texas. Ohio State gets their players from everywhere btw...where does ohio state get all them players? I've been told over and over, unless you can recruiting texas all is for nothing.
I understand their qb is from almighty texas, but without them being in the big 12 they are not supposed to be able to keep their head above water with just mostly "rust belt recruits"I understand the point you are trying to make but what a foot in mouth post...there most important player, JT Barrett, is from Texas. Then what...1. Ever seen or heard a detailed college football game plan? Coaches analyze EVERYTHING!
2. Every coach stresses all of the top 4 things you listed. Dont you think OSU will strive for the same things?
3. How did the OSU athletes look compared to OU. It often (not always) comes down to who has the best athletes.
4. Injuries and a bit of good fortune could make a difference - who can forget the last time we beat OSU and then MSU last year.
5. There must be a name for this - why is it everyone thinks their team has improved but fail to recognize the opposing team may also have improved. We tend to look at them as the same team from years past or even the last.
I agree with the little things but they are very technique oriented. OSU has some great athletes, assume they match all items you list - then what?
