I bet Michigan’s fans enjoyed their journey to the National Championship game in San Antonio better than Nebraska’s epic performance in Starkville, Mississippi.

I wasn't pulling for Michigan, but I give them tons of credit, they've been pretty successful the past decade and achieved heights that Nebraska BB will probably never scale in another 100 years. But Nebraska did beat them this year so that's something of a consolation.

Creighton fans are happy tonight too.
Michigan was a very good team. But most years their team never makes it this far, they beat a 14 seed, a 6 seed, a 7 seed, a 9 seed, and an 11 seed. You could argue they had the easiest road to a finals in tournament history. But Villanova was a great team and deserved to win it all.
I'm willing to bet every NU BB fan would give their left nut to win the Big 10 tourney, go to the final 4 and play in the National title game. Instead, we continue to be the "Wait till next year" team that maybe one day will finally win a game in the tourney.

I'm having a hard time seeing how the OP is actually trolling Nebraska fans.... but he can't seriously be throwing shade at Michigan for losing in the national championship game.... can he? It's like a guy who lives in a trailer court making fun of those rich guys "in them fancy cars".
I WAS rooting for Michigan...I like their team...AND I saw the Miracle in Wichita from the 10th row two weeks ago...I love it when teams grab their momentum whenever/wherever they can....
It was certainly better than sitting at home in Nebraska watching, hoping and praying that we might one day actually be in the Big Dance and win a game.
If you're honestly poking fun at Michigan for getting to the National Championship game and losing...get real! We'll never come remotely close to that accomplishment when we constantly make excuses for coaches that don't show up in March.
Pretty bizarre to bag on Michigan when we are still seeking our first NCAA win in bb history.
I posted that as the game was winding down and they were showing some pics of depressed Mich fans at the game. Guessing all of us have been to a game at some point where we had high hopes and then had to face reality long before it was over. The game turned out like you would have expected. I've never liked Villanova, so was hoping maybe Michigan would give them a go. But it was never close. Still, Michigan did prove they were the class of the BIG for this year.
