I'm not trying to rile up anything and I mean this with full sincerity but do you guys find it cringey and weird?

I get maybe liking or idolizing a player and wanting to wear his/her # or something but the full blown copy and paste attempt by Raiola is weird. Do you guys look at it as a who cares as long as he wins type deal or do you guys also find it cringey like the rest of America?

Also the 2 polar bears you guys have at DT are studs

I feel like it’s been made into a way bigger deal than it was.

Really I can only think of the one pregame warmup where he mimicked Mahomes and the media ran with it. The other things have just been football plays or regular celebrations

Mahomes and Raiola also know each other and Mahomes said he is totally cool with it. Hopefully that helps you cringe a little less.

I find Iowa fans still hanging around this forum to be cringey and weird.

Whatever trips your trigger Hawkeye.

I wore 13 my entire career because of Dan Marino. And I didn't even play QB.

Nice win. Now go back to paying Ferentz $8M a year in hopes of a meaningful season.

How bout the little finger wag he was pulling after plays, calling for the huddle?
That's Mahomes to a T. It borders on obsession man. It's creepy.

Seems to bother only Iowa. No other team has said a thing. Now if it were a grown man obsessing over a kid, that would be creepy. Sorry if that made you feel creepy.

What is it about Iowa fans, that makes them want to pick everyone apart, and run them down. On your board, you call Nebraska fans arrogant and obnoxious. The thing is, you're group is the opitimy of that daily on that board and when coming here.

I find it more cringy and weird an obese iowa fan is obsessed with a kid and posts about it on the Nebraska board

If he wasn't playing for Nebraska, I am sure most Nebraska fans would admit that it is little over the top and strange. I have actually seen some on here discussing how they feel this way about it. But if you are asking as an Iowa fan (especially a day after losing to Iowa, you aren't going to get an honest answer).

Personally I think it's weird. Never really seen it happen before to this level of outright copying someone from looks to behavior. If anyone knows of any precedent on this, please share.

I would think it would serve him better, in his career and life, to be his own person and try to make a name for himself instead of trying to ride the coattails of someone else's life.

He is a freshman, this has been a tough season for him. Will he get better or be the next Adrian Martinez? We will see.

I really don't give a crap who copies who. Does it really matter in the grand scheme of things. Why is it creepy? We all have idles of some sort and attempt to take on characteristics because that's what we do.

No, he's 18 and has a hell of a role model. Haters gonna hate.
