We have wide receivers running open for layups against the press and only God knows why we’re choosing not to make these simple passes. Is Raiola in the stands and does he have any eligibility left?

I’d like to see some of our guys get mean and play with some anger and aggression out there. Between Minnesota, Rutgers and now MD at some point our guys need to stop being ok with getting pushed around and fight back

While it is not the biggest factor in the game, those last 2 calls are emblematic of B1G officials. A block out by Mast is a foul and then a touch foul along the baseline by Rice.
What’s really annoying me is I don’t think Maryland is necessarily that good. Our guys have just been that bad today. Too many turnovers and lack of rebounding will kill anyone. No effort today.
It’s one thing to lose a road game, but to completely sh1t the bed over and over again is inexcusable.
Maryland isn’t great but they are way more athletic, especially with Gary out. Sometimes the Huskers offset their lack of athleticism with good ball movement and moving without the ball, but definitely not today.
I was just thinking that while watching this game. We do not have any shifty athletes on this team. And we could use some dudes. I mean, bangers on the rim that bully’s people. We have neither.
Rice is about the only player who has an ability to drive to the hoop, which is done from the corner/wing. But you can’t build an offense just around that. We desperately need a PG who can do that from anywhere. This year we have to rely on back cuts for shots at the hoop from non-bigs. Doesn’t always work when the shot clock is winding down.

They just Beat NW and iowa on the road, and lost to Mich St by 2.
