Hoiskers 8.5 favorites over Murray St in Hawaii

I like the combo of things that Wooster brings to the table. Not a good shooter, but pretty good at everything else. If he gets a mismatch he'll kill them with his postup game. Pretty good at driving and kicking to the open shooters, he especially looks for Essegian (duh). Uses his size to work through screens defending on the perimeter. Ulis was getting killed trying to defend Rice from Indiana. Decent rebounder.

For a PG, he needs to be a better FT shooter. With his post up ability, we might need a few extra points from FTs in B1G games. Although getting the other team’s players in foul trouble probably offsets that a little bit.

Rollie is an average shooter who is strong in the paint against maybe more athletic defenders. I like his offense around the bucket.

He’s normally pretty solid from the line I think.

Rodie was one of the best mascots. Enjoyed the Racers games when I was a kid.
At some point when I was in high school we went to Omaha to celebrate my parents' anniversary on January 9th. Got a hotel room, ate out and went to a Racers game. I have a very clear memory of Tim Legler being on the team and that he was absolutely deadly from 3.

Wonder how the officials are chosen for games in Hawaii. Are they all Hawaiian residents? Last night's game was poorly officiated both ways IMO. They let both teams get away with murder except for Gary, Gary couldn't breathe on anyone or it was a foul.

I was going to mention that the game was not totally called like a B1G game. Allowed a lot of physical play away from the basket, but at least called the contact on rebounds.

Oakland was pulling away in the other semifinal, but OSU closing the gap.

Greg Kampe’s 42nd season as the Grizzlies’ coach. Even I’m not that old!
