Hoiskers 8.5 favorites over Murray St in Hawaii

All along I thought this game was at 2. Glad it’s tonight. Kind of a weird tournament of teams I think. I wish there was a few power basketball schools in this .

I wish that someday our program was good enough to get invited to the Maui Invitational. I doubt it ever happens. But that would be an awesome tournament to attend, it's usually full of great teams.

I was thinking both teams look like they've spent too much time at the beach and eating too much at the the luau. And the crowd sounds like it's at a pickup game on campus.

This is exactly the kind of game you would expect. Not great to play three of these and then Southern U. going into conference play. Oh well.

Who do you think should be the starting point guard?
Even when Uhlis is available you shouldn’t start him. He is a terrible passer and not much of a scoring threat at all. At least Rollie gives you some scoring ability.

Team as a whole has some terrible, predictable passing. Teams that press them find Nebraska making passes into areas where there is no chance.

Not sure it will translate to conference play, but damn Morgan has some nifty moves down low. Told my kid to watch how he gets guys off balance.

I like his game. Wish he could shoot a bit better, but whatever.
Wooster is the same guy he was at Utah - not exciting to watch, but he's versatile and pretty efficient. And he's taking some of the ball-handling burden off Williams, which I think is better for the Huskers over the course of the season. Last year all that ball handling seemed to wear Williams down.

Any time Uhlis steps on the floor he is a offense liability, careless with the ball isn’t much of scoring threat..

Take Sam at point after Rollie.

Hawaii at Hawaii is usually not an easy game. Surprised the line is as high as it is at 9.5.

Sam is not a PG. Uhlis is a bit of a wildcard, but I don't think he's doing too bad so far.

Agree on this. Sam is not a PG and has a very defined, important role. If you take him out of his regular element, the rest of his game probably suffers. I am not a huge Ulis fan but he has been serviceable so far this year. Wooster has shown some ability to work in the paint and post up other PGs, which is another option when the offense bogs down.
