Though I called the Bruins demise, I'll admit that I didn't expect it in the 1st round. The other part of my post about the Avs getting healthy has been way off. They are down four forwards, one from each of their four lines, including three of their best penalty killers. That will be huge if they get through and face Edmonton in the Western Conference final. First things first- 0-0 end of one against the upstart Kraken.

I feel like I'm a hockey expert now because I was in Toronto for work last Sunday/Monday and was in the hotel lobby on Monday when the Panthers were checking in. I thought "COOL!" and then I realized I didn't know a single name. Not huge guys, that's for sure.

I didn't unfortunately. It was a dumb trip, I was there on Sunday evening when basically everything was closed. Monday I was back at the airport by 3. It looks like a cool city, would love to have a fun trip there with my wife.
Florida was going to win the series anyway, but how in the Hell can you grab a defender's stick and just pull him out of position, and not draw a penalty? Awful way for an OT and series to end.
