Plays D and hell I hate to say it but even Iowa or come up with a better version of your 3-4
My better version would have been adding more DBs to the OLB areas when you had an offense passing 3-1 over running plays and / or maybe tightening up coverages?
I never see any teams Even SEC fast speed running with So much space given in flat wide open every single play vs either of those teams.
How the hell can Iowa and Wisc year after year playing large base D come up and cover short passing better than our faster athletes.
How was Ark State able to shed our WR blocks to make a quick hit on WR to stop a bubble screen cold but NU DBs LBs can't.
How can the same play be run over and over without us adjusting more to it?
How could we not press cover at least one drive to see how that works. They scored 1/2 the time anyway dying by 1000 paper cuts
Time to swallow pride and implement what works. TO and our D coaches in 90s finally copied Miami FSUs pressure 4 D
You better get this fixed and fast or vegas was spot on if not generous with 6 wins
Finally how can Mike Riley who I like a lot be so ok with how we played D and only give credit to ark state. Sorry that was piss poor display and I just hope our players haven't already lost faith and trust
How is Oregon not going to do the same thing and they have damn good RB to boot. I don't think they can make that line high enough right now. Only chance we have is if our O shows up like last night plus 1
