Maybe was are turning a corner? looked like the receivers made some catches. the new receiver today did good. the tight end caught the ball and we get morgan back. thats 3 developing targets.
the line seemed to protect the qb good. looks like we found a running back. the defense seemed to get better and better.

I think if the players just focus on the task at hand, they will turn out pretty good, and it will give riley time to accumulate more experience players in his system.

That's some good kool-aid. But we did find the recipe for success this season. Run the ball, use play action and rollouts, don't put the game on Lee's shoulders, put him in positions to succeed and let him regain his confidence. Let the defense play loose and aggressive, and control the clock. This team has a lot of potential, they just need to avoid stupid mistakes. We aren't going to win the Big Ten, but we can compete in every game.
