I know Dylan is getting all the attention... Hauss Hejny is another QB with a current Husker Offer out there and he just put on a show today in the Texas 5A Div1 Championship...

Kid is a crazy good dual threat QB - Went 11/15 175 passing yards with 2 passing TD's and he Had 10 carries for 146 on the ground along with 2 more TD's... it was also cool as he even ran the Option a couple of times...

Kid is raw and took a bit to get going from last year until now but fits that "development" mold... Would be freaking Great to get Dylan AND this kid as well... His stock is sure to go up after this game...

guessing he is about CT size.. needs to get stronger, but for HS tape he looks pretty good.. Those are nice stats and in a championship game, that matters to me. Nice post!

Kid just completed the season on a 14 game winning streak/won the Texas 5A D1 state championship. Took home MVP as well. I wouldn't worry about strength, he's the strongest pound for pound kid on their team. Runs a 10.6 100 meter, 29 pullups and squats almost twice his body weight. Absolute work horse. Carried the ball 19 times in a semifinals game against #1 Longview (wet, cold, wind, etc..) to lead his team to the title game. He's 5 "11 (pushing 6) and weighs close to 190 lbs. Strength is not an issue....watch the tape. He's got one of the nastiest stiff arms I've ever seen from a QB and can absolutely rip the ball into tight windows.....

Side note: his mother ran track/played basketball in college (5 "11) and his father was a 6 "3 collegient Defensive End. Something tells me he's not done growing. He has more raw athleticism, arm talent, toughness and leadership than anyone in the country. Trust me.

I live in Ft worth and saw Aledo play against Brewer
1) Aledo is a loaded /stacked team - I could play qb handing off to Jonathan gray , Alabama kid and whoever else they got to move $$$ to Aledo
2) A Lot of other qb’s looked good playing as Aledo qb.- none of them were close to being d1 qb’s

That being said I don’t think he has a D1 arm or accuracy . Saw two d 1 qbs this year in Byron Nelson qb and freak Denton guyer dude going to ou

1) do they have any offensive players going to BAMA on this year's team.
2) Have you watched the tape? What do you consider d1 arm strength? First throw on tape has pressure in his face and throws the ball 50 yards on a rope (one ball), back shoulder to the sideline - that throw shows you everything you need to see from an arm strength standpoint - there are NFL Qbs that couldn't make that throw.

You're making broad/general statements. Watch the film. The speed and arm talent is real.

quick release, dropping dimes, strong arm and speed. realize these highlite tapes can be misleading. if i were a coach i would sure like to see him in person.

Saw him live (slight build too), no thanks but best wishes -

Aledo kids play A LOT of ball and by the time they get to next level they seem to break down or underperform. Imho again best wishes to the kid . The ex coach /AD Wood of Aledo was my brothers coach in high school and a great man!

Another sidenote, his mother is married to you.

Not very big.

Sounds like the guy Fatgino made in to a star at KU.
I've seen 3 "little guys" at QB in college football that was among some of the best QBs I've seen in many years of college football.

Doug Flutie was 5'10" and had a rocket. McKenzie Milton was 5'10"-5'11" and had a great, accurate arm. Drew Brees is listed as 6'0", my son was invited to his 40th birthday party and said, "Pops, he's about 5"10".

This kid, though I'm making no predictions, can put on some weight and likely becomes a helluva good D1 QB. Sounds like he has the core strength, work ethic, and tools to have an impact in the right type of offense.

As a side note, in the 2 game series against both South Florida and Memphis, I've NEVER seen any college QB throw the ball more accurately than Milton did at UCF over a period of 60-70 throws. He wasn't as good against Auburn in the bowl because early I think he struggled with the pressure of that situation. It didn't hurt he had to great receivers.

He made Frost.

Welp… cross him off the list… he’s headed to Duke… to be fair, that room is over full and with a certain number 1 floating around that may still come here I understand…

that said I don’t understand Duke when he had an offer to NU… perhaps he wasn’t a fit an coach directed him elsewhere… anyway, best of luck to him

Russell Wilson is also 5’11”, and he seems to have done okay at college and pro quarterbacking. I recall we had some trouble with him at Wisconsin.
we've made every QB look pretty good for awhile now...
