The King refuses to answer to the commoners .Long live the king. He was asked a question today at a press conference that he didn't want to answer so he walked out.

Jim Harbaugh believes in the old unspoken coaching theory that if he wins, he can be a total ass and there's nothing anybody can do about it. Getting mad at a reporter for "asking questions!"

Thanks for the link.
He's going to flameout just like Bo did.
I strongly dislike Michigan and am not particularly fond of harbaugh but he's accomplished so much more than Bo in his career it's not even close. If Michigan offered a swap of staffs right now I'd take it immediately. May be an abrasive guy but is a hell of a coach.

And like Bo he's worn out his welcome most every place he's gone. I'll be surprised if he lasts as long at Michigan as Pelini did here at Nebraska.

Doesn't bother me in the least. Let's be brutally honest here, JH >>>>>Any local reporter, period. It was obvious Jim didn't wish to discuss it but he gave a satisfactory answer anyway, and the reporter kept pressing, that's fine, he's allowed, and JH is allowed to shut it down and walk out. JH gets results, period, and he's really only a dick if you start it. I'm siding with Hargod on this one, and I'd still take him for our coach right freaking now, and if he was our coach, I doubt many fans would have had a problem with what he did.

Well he built USD into a respectable lower division program, then he left and built Stanford into a powerhouse, then he left and built the niners into one of the best teams in the nfl. Their ownership let their egos get in the way and fired him, then immediately became one of the worst teams in the nfl, and then he built Michigan into a playoff contender in one year. Yeah I'd take that guy.

I'm not saying he's not an a hole, he is. But he wins and its not like he's leaving these teams with sanctions or scandals. I just think all of the evidence shows he's a great coach and if that includes some awkward press conferences, that's ok by me.

Hargod will have literally 10X the success Blo did here, and he could get any job at any level he wanted when he's done with Michigan. Comparing Bo and JH is really, really, stupid. JH may or may not stand the test of time, but the true measure of how good somebody is, and we're comparing Hargod to Blo here, is that I bet Hargod will have his choice of jobs and won't be coaching at some D2 school when he's done with Michigan.

If he was our coach the team and program would of totally imploded last year.

I thought Harbaugh kept it respectable and stayed polite. Bo's tone and body language would have made him come off like a super ass (right or wrong).

DUDE!!! IT DID!!!

If you really think we wouldn't have had a much better season with Hargod coaching us, you know ZILCH about football.
Riley kept everyone together and we finished the season strong. Harbaugh would of kicked 1/3 of the players off the team. Had multiple meltdowns which would of caused the other 2/3's to quit on him. It would of been a catastrophe.

Go on...you think this why?
Our players needed a father figure of a coach not a wannabe Gunnery Sergeant Hartman. They already had that... time to move on and grow as a player. It really was touch and go till finally the team saw a man standing in front of them. A man who wanted them to be the best they could be and they came out and beat a playoff team in Michigan State. I call that progress and far from saying the season imploded.

You don't know a single thing about Harbaugh...you really don't...its actually pretty funny reading your posts on him

I know he didn't even had the god damn decency of a human being to give his condolences to Sam Foltz's family. Or did I miss that portion of the B1G Media days??? Harbaugh is a self righteous SOB and he can pound sand!

Sorry, but Coach Harbaugh will always have my appreciation and respect after he did this: http://ow.ly/1Rm4303iPnw. 'Nuff said.

So you are mad that he talked about his own team during B10 media day?

Wow. Quite an imagination you have there. You just know all this would have happened eh? I think most people (by a huge margin) would say you're kind of stupid about this subject.

Please tell me I missed something about some sympathetic words to a competitor's family... ANYTHING??? Or is he so caught up in a game that he couldn't even bring himself to do that??? Every other coach did!

I'm a big of Riley fan as the next guy, but liking Riley doesn't mean you have to knock on Harbaugh.

It's possible Harbaugh wouldn't have done much better than Riley, but I think it's silly to think he would have done any worse.

Maybe he was too busy pulling a woman out of her car when her vehicle flipped multiple times on I-94 (which connects Ann Arbor to Chicago)...actions speak louder than words

I wish some guys would defend our coach with as much passion as they show for another coach. At least one (@ellobo ) is a fan of that team if I remember correctly? What is your excuse @litespeedhuskerfan ?

He was at Media day's and the commentators even commented on him being the ONLY ONE not to offer a sympathetic gesture.
While do I think it would have been a nice gesture I think pulling someone out of a car wreck quite makes up for forgetting to say something about a kid he never met or coached against. How many people have you personally pulled out of a car wreck?

I ran into a burning apartment complex to get other residents out. I ran past the second floor apartment that was on fire to get the residents on the third floor. This was after I already carried a handicapped person down to the ground floor.

Edit: It was at this apartment complex @1057 Park Ave, Omaha, NE 68105.

So if all that is true...if one day you forgot to give your condolences about someone, you never met, that died in a house fire does that make you a SOB? Or do the actions you took when faced with possibly saving lives say more about your character?

He was the only one. Spin it anyway you want but Nebraska and Michigan State lost family and he didn't even acknowledge it.

Seriously, I bet even Mark Dantonio was taken aback privately from Harbaugh's non comment.

So your point is that if had chosen to drive by the accident and not help, if he did not helped raise money for the family of a fallen officer and never did a 100+ more than gestures things he's done to help people in need... BUT he took 30 seconds to say a few words about someone he never met or coached against THEN in your eyes he would be a good person?

Actions speak louder than words. There is no spin. He went to the B10 media day and spoke about his team. I seriously doubt that he made a conscience decision to not say anything about it. He went and did what you are supposed to do...talk about your team. The fact your are judging him on this says more about you than him.
