We helped our 11 year old boxer cross the rainbow bridge today. She was my first dog and it was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.
The hardest part was she was mostly still herself, but has had bone cancer that has grown out of control. We didn’t want her to potentially break her leg and cause much more trauma.
We will always treasure the memories with her, but goddamn, this sucks!
