I have a buddy who is tied into the Cincinnati Moeller high school pretty well and we were having lunch last week. He mentioned how Gus Ragland was just a flatout winner and so I wanted to dial into this somewhat meaningless game to watch today. They are the first team in FBS history to start a season 0-6 and then go 6-0 after that. Coincidentally, Ragland's first start was coming back from a torn ACL for that first win.
He's an impressive kid; I'm not sure what he looked like in high school to only warrant a 5.2 rating and basically unevaluated, with his only FBS offer from Miami (Oh), but he's a really nice player and seems to make the right decision with the ball about every time.
