Griffin Wilde N?

Sounds like he understands the value of a NW degree. Sure as heck will have a better chance of playing more there. Thee NFL will find you if you put it on video.
Damn right. My Steelers have a NW wide receiver on their team right now. Ben Skowronek. More of a role player in the NFL, but a damn good football player.

Maybe he’s getting a little NIL money from NW. maybe he likes the idea of living in Chicago. One think is certain. IF he finishes a degree from NW, that will pay dividends over a degree from SDSU. SDSU is losing their staff and their starting QB. He might not like the odds of having a decent year there as well.

He's from Sioux Falls. No one in SF will give a shit about a Northwestern degree if he goes back there.

Can’t imagine anyone wanting to go back there
Sioux Falls is a nice town with tremendous growth. I know multiple professionals who left lucrative jobs in the Twin Cities to move to Sioux Falls. Their downtown has a lot of cool bars and restaurants. Brookings is a small town with a definite ag slant. IF he gets a degree from NW he’ll have more choices on where to go career wise.

I’ve been

Dumpsville, USA, and that’s when it’s not under water from flooding

I’m there fairly frequently. Not a dump. They had a once in 1000 years rain event this past summer where they got almost an entire year’s worth of rain in 48 hours on the southwest side of town. It was cleaned up in a matter of days with no sign of any damage to structures that I’ve seen. McCook Lake SD just north of Sioux City took the brunt of that wall of water. They lost 30 homes I think.

I was there 4 or 5 years ago and it was flooded then, too.

Went to a rodeo, went everywhere downtown, mingled with the handful of yokels who had their teeth and spoke English.

Dump.

Which rodeo? The McCrossan Boys Ranch Rodeo? You were there once 5 years ago and went to a rodeo. Small sample. To each his own but the city has changed tremendously in the past 5 years. The downtown in particular has undergone tremendous development. The Washington Pavillion is a theatre that draws Broadway musicals and hosts the South Dakota Symphony. It’s an amazing and beautiful facility. Their convention and entertainment venue draws all kinds of major musical acts. I much prefer the entertainment options in Sioux Falls to those in Omaha.

It was in the arena there. Not sure what rodeo.

Just sharing my experience. I’m sure others’ mileage will vary.
