it's pretty nice having our men's and women's teams being half way decent at the same time. When's the last time that happened?

This is as excited I've been for Nebraska basketball in a long time. And then I sit back and slap myself knowing that I'm happy we fired a coach after 3 years because he took us down to 75th in the ranking. And I'm celebrating a 6 year coach who is .489 here and has us up to 67th in the ratings.
Also remember, a few more spots up the ladder and we could be dancing again. This is as excited I've been for Nebraska basketball in a long time. Just like at South Dakota. She's really young, too.Very happy for Amy Williams. Many were calling her hire an abject failure last year. She has flipped the WBB culture quick.
RPI probably isn't going to climb much, but NCAA bids are not totally about RPI. If Nebraska could secure the #4 seed in the conference tournament, I think it would be very hard to leave them out. Long way to go, obviously, but NU will be in that #4 position tonight if Purdue beats Michigan. Also remember, a few more spots up the ladder and we could be dancing again.
I know they don’t take the top 64 teams, with automatic bids for conference winners and all, but we aren’t that far off if we continue to climb...
