Iowa just won a game with 37 passing yards today.

Three weeks ago, they lost to Penn State by 33, while getting 7 first downs, with their starting QB. Meanwhile Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State put up over 150 points, while giving up 14. Iowa has to face one of those three if they win their putrid division.

Thankfully this is the last year we have to see a West team get smashed by an East team. Reminds me of the Big 12 North vs South, when the conference was all about Texas, and Oklahoma.

Watching the Oregon vs Washington game was a delight. Switching over to see the Iowa vs Wisconsin game was like having someone offer me cow manure, then have the nerve to call it just as important as Washington vs Oregon. Ferentz will be looking to cash his pension after next year.

33 yards passing is refreshing? I enjoy some good defense, but today was terrible offense. Michigan, Georgia, Ohio State , they all play good defense. But they can put up points when needed. Did you see what Washington did at Michigan State. Or Oregon did to Colorado? That's good defense.

I think if you like low scoring, you may be a fan of the wrong kind of football. The European brand is played year round.

I'm not sensitive to that. I'm a fan of good football. The B1G West is not good football. I'm hopeful that there are going to be compelling games next year. Iowa has owned a weak division, and Ferentz is called a "legend". The guy has won one BCS game. Zero sole conference titles. He's made his bread off the weakest schedules ever.

I've been called out by Iowa fans as delusional. I'm not a hater of Iowa. I hate bad football, and Iowa is setting football back 100 years with whatever style they are playing.

All I’ll say is if we play well enough to win the west, the second go around will be different. Not that we will win different, but our guys will be seasoned by the trials of this year and will fight that much harder than the first go around.

As I said, I don't really care. I'm a college football fan. My thread was quite obvious. I don't follow message board prison rules. If I wanted to incite something, I would have gone after the local team. I think the B1G West is a joke. I think Kirk Ferentz is the biggest fraud legend in the game, and I can't wait to see Oregon, and Washington bring some life into the listless conference. More importantly the teams in the West.

I have posted on Iowa's board recently. Started on the Florida board a year ago. There is a poster over there that reminded me of Dale Gribble from "King of The Hill". I began agreeing with him, until he got the joke. Hence my name. If Instagator ever visits here, he will leave the moment he sees me.


But yeah, that's my story of how a name created two years ago only had five posts on your site. I've been visiting other teams boards. Seeing how they deal with head coaching changes. Iowa is a program I used to respect. Until they started comparing Ferentz to real legends.

I don't care if I'm respected on a board, but in real life I've met some really cool Husker fans. And Iowa fans.
