the sun is actually shining in NJ this morning, never thought it would after yesterday's game.......but it has!!
This will all be over and our new coach should be in place by the first week of December, only a few weeks to go and we can then look toward the future!!
I know, I'm as pained as everyone, that was awful but as we've witnessed multiple times, it always gets worse before it gets better.
I am like many on this board, I watch college Football and see all of the talent, the big games, the excitement and it's been oh so long since we felt that, it sucks, we all, including me vent and then we saddle up and go to the next week..........well, there is no magic potion, no immediate fix but what I believe this time, the first time is that we have an AD who can make a great decision, and I'm actually pretty excited about the possibilities, I have to after what I've witnessed for over the last 17 years.
I think we have many posters who see what's potentially coming, I am hoping it's Frost because he has that 'It' factor, he's hungry and I bet he's taking our ass beatings this year personally and he wants to fix that........finally!!
Nothing is guaranteed in life, and we do take this oh so seriously but hang on my brothers, I feel the monster that was once Nebraska Football is about to be finally awoken again!
I know, you can rip me for thinking positive in such a gloomy state of the program, however, as many of us know and have experienced, life is too short to always be angry, mad, defiant, upset and the many other adjectives I can throw out there.
Nebraska will be relevant again and all of us can enjoy the passion we share..........
And for the many brothers who have been like a second family to me on this board for over 16 years.......yes, I am finally coming to my first Nebraska game in Lincoln September 8th for Colorado............and I cannot wait to meet many of you.........Italian pastries and all......
