Isn't women's sports becoming more and more popular?
Since they are, it seems like passion is being channeled to supporting women on the fields and courts already. So what's the issue to you then?

Sure are I am talking about how women's sports are discussed here on this forum. Many here are behind the curve when it comes to admitting or acknowledging the growth of women's sports. I really enjoy them myself. Far too often women athletes here are reduced to how hot they are instead of how athletically gifted they are.
Since it's only 4, what's the issue with stopping it?

What is the % that would generate a concern for women’s athletics being changed from its core mission? Why does the psychology get the upper hand over the biology when the sciences aren’t in unison?
What is the actual number and what would the actual number need to be for you to decide that men who feel they are women is a problem in women’s sports?
It’s funny that clowns call people on the right snow flakes. We don’t need to make up words add them to the dictionary or make up pronouns because words hurt our feelings like they do for you.
This was an issue that was creating unfair competition in Women’s sports, has nothing to do with a man’s insecurity or his testies. Just because you like to think about other guy’s testies doesn’t make it our issue.
There may have been a small percentage of biological males playing on females teams, but it was wrong and you don’t wait til the problem gets bigger.
It should not have been allowed to happen because it was wrong. Now it’s taken care of, and it’s still a win, no matter what you think.

I always wondered when I watched ads wanting donation and they end it with "if you donate now, thanks to govt grant, your donation would be matched x10 " money probably funneled somewhere else that donor didn't intend.

Nobody has a problem or gives two shits about trans people. They can do whatever they want and have all the same rights as every other American. As long as they are adults (don’t push this shit on kids) and not competing against biological women in organized sporting competitions nobody cares what trans people do.
No kids, no women’s sports. It’s as simple as that. Otherwise, they can be/do whatever they want with in the law.
It may only be 10 men playing women’s sports but that small number still affects a huge number of women. 1 male volleyball player on a team affect the 15ish women on the team they are taking the place of on the court, then it effects the 15 players on the 30 opponents that have to play against the man or they lose out on games because they choose to forfeit rather than play the game. That doesn’t even get into Olympic sports where they have men beating up women in a ring. The affect is much more far reaching than just the 10 men.
That fact the left can’t just say… “You know, this the right thing you to do. Biological men shouldn’t compete against biological women in sports.” And leave it at that. They always have to throw in a… “But…” It shows their true colors, shows that they care as much or more about who is shaping the issue than the actual issue itself. They have to find a point of contention no matter how disingenuous, hallow and misguided it is…
You're 100% correct, but I will give our board lefty, @mwulf, props for acknowledging that trans men playing women's sports is bad & shouldnt be allowed. Most lefties I engage with won't ever admit that.
Now if he would just acknowledge that women athletes dont get dogged on any more (probably less actually) than men athletes on this board, he'd be golden 😉
It’s not who is shaping the issue. It’s that for every good thing that is done like not permitting biological males to compete with biological females, there are five or 10 things they’re doing that are completely stupid.
All to save money so that they can stop the estate taxes on billionaires……
Or maybe it was a bunch of parents who didn't like to see their daughters taken advantage of in such a manner?
Will be interesting to see if the UCI takes a similar stance with the men who have started creeping into womens professional cycling. I know most won't give it much thought because its cycling, but several women have been screwed out of their place on the podium by dudes. This is a great start
